January 24, Lit Youngstown, Action Books, World Poetry Books, and Elizabeth’s Bookshop & Writing Center presented a reading by poets Ghayath Almadhoun, Olivia Elias, Philip Metres & Deema Shehabi, and translators Catherine Cobham, Sarah Riggs & Jérémy Robert. Four poets, three translators, in five nations on three continents, uplifted Palestinian voices and discussed the importance of poetry and works in translation.
