Youngstown Area Community Concert Band Music & Poetry - Call for Submissions

Youngstown Area Community Concert Band and Lit Youngstown are teaming up in search of original poems inspired by this year's concert theme, "Broadway Classics," music from Andrew Lloyd Webber, West Side Story, Oklahoma, Annie, Lion King, Les Miserables, Jersey Boys, My Fair Lady, and Sound of Music.

Six poems will be selected from submissions. Registered participants may submit up to two poems. Selected poems will be read, either by the poet or by a Lit Youngstown reader, at the concert Tuesday, June 17, at Austintown Township Park. Attendance is not required for participation.
