First Wednesday Readers Series presents Andrew Rihn and RC Wilson for a poetry reading and open mic December 1 at 7:00 at the Soap Gallery, 117 S. Champion Street. Gayle Catinella will co-host. We'll also be celebrating National Fried Pie Day.
Andrew Rihn is the author of Revelation: An Apocalypse in Fifty-Eight Fights, a book of prose poems about Mike Tyson. He writes The Pugilist, a monthly boxing column for Into the Void magazine, where he is also a poetry editor. Andrew lives in Canton, OH.
RC Wilson lives, writes, and performs his poems, songs, and monologues in Kent, Ohio, and elsewhere in the region. While he sometimes brings chapbooks to poetry readings, his preferred form is the spoken word. He is a frequent organizer of poetry readings and poetry events in the Kent area.
