Announcing the 2025 First Wednesday Reader Series

Lit Youngstown is grateful and honored to announce our First Wednesday series of readers, bringing their poetry, fiction, speculative fiction, memoir and essay from Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and many points between and beyond.

The open mic is a time for us to share new work with one another, to share dazzling work written by someone else, to hear from those trying their hand at this writing thing.

To celebrate Lit Youngstown's 10 year anniversary and Youngstown's literary legacy, the 2025 readings will open with a Youngstownian reading their own work and a Youngstowner's piece they love.

Thank you, Westside Bowl! for hosting us in the Trophy Room where we enjoy a wonderful sound system and delicious pizza.

Lit Youngstown is one of the LOOP Youngstown Arts & Culture Center organizations, and we anticipate joining them in their new ADA accessible space when they open. So we may be moving in 2025, but we're happy where we are. Hope to see you there.
