YWCA Ekphrastic Poetry - Call for Submissions

Lit Youngstown is joining forces with the YWCA in search of poems inspired by artwork made by women artists during this year's YWCA Women Artists Show. Poets will receive and respond to three images to inspire 1-3 poems. You, the poet, or a Lit Youngstown reader,  will read your poems at the YWCA, 25 W. Rayen in Youngstown, on Thursday, July 24, 2025 and poems will be displayed beside the corresponding artwork. Poets are not required to attend the event to participate. Open to all ages.
