Veterans Writing Workshop (August 4 LOOP)

This workshop will serve as a community-centered space where veterans can explore their experiences, creativity, and personal stories through writing. No prior writing experience is necessary. Through group readings, group discussions, thoughtful prompts, and optional sharing opportunities, participants can develop their writing skills, connect with fellow veterans, and discover the power of language as a tool for reflection, healing, and self-expression. This workshop is designed as a creative writing experience and is not intended to provide mental health treatment or counseling.

The group will meet in-person Tuesday evenings August 4, 11, 18, 25, Sept. 1, 8 from 6-7pm at LOOP Arts & Culture Center (805 Mahoning Ave). This workshop is free and open to the public. Registration is required. To register, click here.
