*New Time!* Summer Workshop Series: You Are Nature (Registration Deadline June 15)

Updated: Jun 3

You Are Nature: An Exploration of Poetry in the Natural World

All experience levels are welcome (beginners are strongly encouraged) in this four week writing workshop, where we will read and discuss U.S. Poet Laureate Ada Limón’s newly edited poetry anthology and walk the paths around Ford Nature Center. We will hike, write, read, discuss, and workshop poems as we build a deeper connection to ourselves and the natural world.

This free workshop will meet Mondays and Wednesdays, July 1-24 from 6-7:30pm at Ford Nature Center in Mill Creek Park. Register here by June 15.

An educator, writer, and lifelong student, Lindsay Sinkovich has nearly two decades of experience teaching in a variety of K-12 classroom settings. When she is not knee deep in the chores of life, she can be found wandering in nature with her daughter and their trusty wonder dog. This project is being supported in part by funds awarded to the Board of Mahoning County Commissioners under Assistance Listing No. 21.027 by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
