*New* Ticket Club: "Emma"

Our New Year's resolution is to see more plays by our wildly talented theater community. Our first pick is "Emma" at the Trumbull New Theatre in Niles, in honor of Jane Austen's 250th birthday. This comedy/romance is directed by Allison Bye, and stars Sydney Stalnecker as Emma. Pledging never to marry, Emma is nevertheless the “matchmaker of Highbury.” Her newest project, Harriet, has already received a proposal, but Emma insists she marry the eligible vicar, while an old family friend warns her to give up matchmaking. When Emma discovers the vicar is more interested in her, she is forced to find another suitor for Harriet.
