Kevin Carey is Coordinator of Creative Writing at Salem State University. He is the author of poetry books The One Fifteen to Penn Station and Jesus Was a Homeboy, both from CavanKerry Press, and Murder in the Marsh, a crime novel from Darkstroke Books. Set in Stone (CavanKerry Press) Philip Metres has written numerous books, including Sand Opera and The Sound of Listening. Awarded fellowships from the Guggenheim and Lannan Foundations, and three Arab American Book Awards, he is professor of English and director of the Peace, Justice, and Human Rights program at John Carroll University.
