Jan Beatty is the winner of the Red Hen Nonfiction Award for her memoir, American Bastard, forthcoming, 2021. For many years, Beatty worked as a waitress, an abortion counselor, and in maximum security prisons. The Body Wars (University of Pittsburgh Press) Patricia Clark is the author of six books of poems. Yvonne Zipter is the author of the poetry collections The Patience of Metal, and Like Some Bookie God, and the nonfiction books Diamonds Are a Dyke’s Best Friend and Ransacking the Closet.
