Enjoy the talents of dozens of students from East High School, Chaney High School and Rayen Early College at a reading on Tuesday, June 4 at 7:00 pm at Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 5th Avenue. The reading is free and open to the public.
CityVerse invited students to take part in six workshops taught by poets Barbara Fant, Raja Belle Freeman, Quartez Harris and Shaunda Yancey. Participants will read their work June 4, and a panel of judges will award five students $100 cash prizes, and one student a $5,000 college scholarship. The event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 6:30pm.
