Caretaking affects all aspects of our lives and can often change how we see ourselves and the world around us. During this workshop, we will reflect upon caretaking through writing and art. Participants will come away with a draft and exercises they can use to develop a graphic memoir.
Meet the teaching artist: McKayla Anne Rockwell, from Youngstown, holds an M.A. in English from YSU. She has published in several literary journals, including Petrichor Journal and Angles. She has also worked as an editor for magazines such as Volney Road Review and Jenny Magazine.
